The Greening of the Transportation Industry: Carbon Transfers, Trading, and Offsets

Various federal and provincial decarbonization programs have emerged to allow the transportation industries to invest in innovation to reduce their carbon footprint and reduce emissions. Some of these programs use market mechanisms, rewarding those who either improve their own environmental performance or invest in offset project credits. When combined with available government funds, the transportation industry will be able to achieve significant benefits in this energy transition with relatively little investment. Attend this panel to learn about the program and how transportation companies are using or planning to do so to improve their bottom line along with their environmental impact.
